Golf carts are the preferred means of travel at The Landings on Skidaway Island, just south of historic Savannah, Georgia’s finest city. Located on a 6,500-acre barrier island with six private golf courses, miles of walking/biking, tennis and two deep water marinas, it’s a great place to explore. From Southbound 1-95:
Exit I-95 at Highway 17 South at Hardeeville, South Carolina. Continue on Highway 17 across the Talmadge Bridge (17 become I-16) to I-516 East (GA 21) Lynes Parkway South. This road changes to DeRenne Avenue. Turn right at the eighth traffic light onto n Truman Parkway South. Continue to the Whitefield Avenue Exit (Spur 204). Turn left on Whitfield Avenue and continue straight for 4 ½ miles to The Landings main entrance.
Alternate Directions Southbound I-95:
Exit I-95 at South Carolina Exit 5, US-17 to Savannah. (You are now about 40 minutes from The Landings.)
Take US-17 South to the Tallmadge Bridge.
Stay in right lane to first exit at foot of bridge, Oglethorpe Avenue. (15 Miles)
After exiting on Oglethorpe take left at first traffic light at end of exit ramp onto Fahm Street. (Savannah Visitor's Center and Trolley Tours will be on the right)
Take Fahm Street 0.3 miles and make a right on Bay Street.
Take Bay Street 1.4 miles until it dead ends and take left on President's Street. (Bay Street will curve to the right, past a Marriott, just before it ends.)
Take President's Street 0.3 Miles to left onto Harry Truman Parkway South. (It will be the first left after crossing railroad tracks.)
Take Truman Pkwy 8.6 miles until it dead-ends at "Whitfield Avenue, GA Spur 204". Turn left at the light.
Continue 4.5 Miles on Spur 204 over 2 small bridges and onto Skidaway Island. Proceed straight to the 4-way stop sign. The Main Gate for The Landings is directly ahead.
From Northbound 1-95:
Exit 94 (Highway 204), Abercorn Street Extension. Continue 12 miles and then turn right onto Montgomery Crossroads. 1.3 miles and turn right onto Waters Avenue. Proceed straight for a few miles, over two bridges and onto Skidaway Island. The Landings main gate is immediately past the 4-way stop.
From Savannah International Airport:
Take Airways Avenue to i-95 South. Take I-16 East to Savannah and exit at I-516 East (GA 21) Lynes Parkway South. This road changes to DeRenne Avenue. Turn right at the eighth traffic light onto Truman Parkway South. Continue to the Whitfield Avenue (Spur 204) exit. Turn left on Whitfield Avenue (Spur 204 East) for 4 ½ miles to main entrance.
From Hilton Head Island:
Take Highway 278 West to highway 170 South. Follow SC 170 to Highway 17. Continue on 17 across the Talmadge Bridge (17 becomes I-16) to I-516 East (GA 21) Lynes Parkway South. This road change to DeRenne Avenue. Turn right at the eighth traffic light onto Truman Parkway South. Continue to Whitfield Avenue (Spur 204) exit. Turn left on Whitfield (Spur 204) for 4 ½ miles to main entrance.
