Ed was born in Pijnacker, Holland near Delph and Rotterdam. He moved with his family to Cape Town, South Africa where he finished his education at Christian Brothers College. While in South Africa, Ed joined IBM. Before retiring in 1991, he spent 30 years in sales and marketing positions. IBM brought Ed to the United States where he lived and worked in Nevada, California, Maine, and Connecticut. After retiring, he spent eight years selling real estate in the East Bay area in Northern California. Ed is a golf enthusiast and The Landings’ six beautiful golf courses were his prime motivation to relocate here in 2000.
