The Landings Association and Comcast would like you to be a part of Delegal’s Ribbon Cutting Event and Sunset Festivities, as part of Delegal’s Grand Reopening event!

One of The Landings’ most popular amenities – we announce Delegal Marina’s restoration completion with a Ribbon Cutting Event and immediately following, sunset festivities including casual picnic dining, complementary beer samplings, entertainment, kids activities, and all within the backdrop of another magnificent sunset!

Opening ceremonies and ribbon cutting commence at 5:15 p.m., July 23, on the waterfront.

Because this is such a highly-anticipated event, we are prepared to welcome all our visitors with expanded food service lines so that you can enjoy the festivities instead of waiting in line. As an added bonus, we will introduce all new and unique surprise dessert vendors, and you won’t want to miss this! (Menus for all vendors including prices will be posted shortly.)

Savannah Fun Tours will provide air conditioned shuttle service for those parked along Landings Way South between the hours of 5-8 p.m. The shuttle service will be available on the west side of Landings Ways South; the farthest pickup point will be Sunset Park. So there is plenty of parking, and hop on and let us drive you right up to the event!

Wet your whistle, Southern Eagle of Anheuser-Busch will serve up a free beer sampling of your favorite beers, and here is an opportunity try something new, too! Of course the Sunset Pavilion bar will be opened to fill all your other special requests, and seating is available inside. (Please, no outside food or beverages inside the Sunset Pavilion.)

The ever-popular Puppet People will be face painting some of the newest animated characters on your kids’ faces for free! This activity will be available from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on the screened-porch area of the Sunset Pavilion. A Delegal Tower coloring contest will be held for all age groups, and the winners will have their drawings published in The Landings Journal!

Last but not least, Savannah Steve will go all out as he broadcasts from the second floor tower, festive contemporary music that will complement the good fellowship, sunset atmosphere, and the great food and libation! Dancing and merriment are encouraged. DON’T MISS OUT!!!

BYOC – (Bring Your Own Chairs). Golf carts and carpooling are strongly recommended.  Golf cart parking only will be available in the large east parking lot, and handicap parking is available on the small west parking lot next to the Sunset Pavilion.
