CCA hosts Kayak Fishing program featuring Nigel Law

June 14th, 2010 by rlongueira in Events

Nigel Law from Savannah Canoe and Kayak will discuss canoeing and kayaking on the Georgia Coast and how kayak fishing is a great way to make otherwise inaccessible fisheries available. Ten years ago Nigel and his wife, Kristen, paddled from Wisconsin to the Florida Keys and shortly thereafter relocated to the Georgia coast. With dozens of undeveloped barrier islands, lazy rivers, and terrific climate, Georgia is a paddler’s paradise. That is why they started Savannah Canoe and Kayak. Nigel will answer questions on how to get started and how to learn skills needed to be successful. This FREE program is sponsored by The Skidaway Island Chapter of The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA). The program will take place on Monday, June 14 at 7 PM in the ST. Peter’s Church Parish Hall on 3 West Ridge Road. No reservations needed. Guests and new members are welcome. For more information call Joe Tyson (8765)
