Twilight Golf Is Back at The Landings!
One of my favorite summertime activities is twilight golf at The Landings with my husband (although he might not agree with me). On June 18th on the Palmetto course, the Landings Club is kicking off the Twilight Golf season. I love that we start at 5:00 p.m. (when its not too hot) and play only 9 holes followed by dinner at the Club! We get to team up with another Landings couple in order to form our four person golf team for the 8-event season. Its a great way to spend time with friends who love to golf, and a great way for me to spend time with my husband, who usually plays golf with his buddies during the week.
Maybe this year we'll have the highest point total and snag the coveted Landings Twilight Cup or one of the other prizes. I've been practicing with the Ladies every week, so I may just surprise my husband this year! In any case, I'm looking forward to great Landings golf, camaraderie, and fabulous dinners at The Club!

No one knows The Landings Better Than The REALTORS® At The Landings Company |
I agree, Twilight Golf is a great way to have fun with other couples AND with your spouse, and I also enjoy being a member of the Landings Nine Holers Golf group! Casual summer play with a foursomes is great -- and the upcoming July 17th Summer Sizzler at The Landings' Palmetto course should be lots of fun as well. The Sizzler includes golf, lunch and prizes -- what better way to spend the day here at The Landings than with the ladies, playing golf and enjoying laughs & conversation over lunch.
So what happens if you are not part of a couple? Well, The Landings also has a Singles Golf Group that I'm a member of! Last Sunday, thirty of us braved the hot conditions on the Landings' Marshwood course --- and had a fabulous time! Al, Grace, Doris & John played to 25 over their progs and became the winning team! Later that day, 32 of us enjoyed a catered dinner at the home of one of our members. Lovely!
We have already scheduled our next Landings Singles Golf event for June 28th. The Landings can often be a "couples" environment, and this group provides an alternative for those who find themselves on their own, especially on Sundays.
