The Landings on Skidaway Island Receives Golf Course Top Award

While, I've always known how much I enjoy life here at The Landings on Skidaway Island, just miles from downtown Savannah, it's great to know that others outside of our community recognize how special it is as well.

On March 24th, we were thrilled to have been awarded LINKS Magazine's 2007-2008 "America's 100 Premier Properties

Jack Purcell, president and publisher of LINKS Magazine came down to Skidaway Island to present the award and discuss golf and the Landings Community with members from the Landings Association, The Landings Club and myself and other Landings' Company representatives over a great meal at the Oakridge Club House.

Jack reminded us all that The Landings is a shining example of a maturing golf course as we were on the third cover of their publication when it started back in 1988.  With 6 courses, all Audubon certified, to choose from and a wealth of other amenities, the residents of The Landings are in a great place.

While The Landings has a stream of accolades, it's always great when a well-respected golf publication reinforces what you already know; how lucky we are to live in a great golf community filled with top-notch amenities and residents who have not only  become your friends but your extended family.
